Argentina is famous for its rich culture, be it music, dance, food or wine. At CTL you can sample all of these flavors with our classes and tours.

Tango:

Our Tango classes are taught by top-level dancers with experience in both
teaching and performing. Classes are given in Spanish and English so
following will be easy. Our Tango package offers 5 classes per week, which
includes 3 group classes (1 hour each) and two private lessons (90 minutes
each).

In addition, we will take you to the many nightly milongas which are held in
the city so you can practice what you have learned in class. The tango
option can be taken separately or combined with a Spanish language course
and is an excellent way to practice your Spanish and mix with the locals.

Other Dance and Music:

Folklore is another form of traditional Argentinean music/dance and during your stay in Argentina we can arrange for you to take a folklore dance class or attend a show. There are also a variety of nightly musical and theatrical shows in the city to keep you entertained.

Food and Wine:

The Argentinean steak is famous worldwide and while the locals love their meat, their diet also has a heavy Italian and Spanish influence. Local favorites include savory empanadas, sweet alfajores and the traditional locro. Consult for information about our cookery courses.

Wine accompanies most meals in Argentina as it is well priced and of a high quality. The main wine producing region lies in Mendoza at the foothills of the Andes and CTL offers tours to this region which include visits to the local wineries and wine tasting. See our Tours page for more details.
